Our Motivation
There are various motivations to improve energy efficiency. Reducing energy use reduces energy costs and may result in a financial cost saving to consumers if the energy savings offset any additional costs of implementing an energy efficient technology. Reducing energy use is also seen as a solution to the problem of reducing emissions. According to the International Energy Agency, improved energy efficiency in buildings, industrial processes and transportation could reduce the world’s energy needs in 2050 by one third, and help control global emissions of greenhouse gases.

Inyge's goal is to find solutions that provide efficient energy. This is different from energy conservation, which refers to reducing energy consumption through using less of an energy service. Efficient energy is the goal of efforts to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. Improvements in energy efficiency are most often achieved by adopting a more efficient technology or production process. Monitoring, managing and measuring energy efficiency commits us to always pursue more beneficial solutions for our fellow citizens and customers.

PermaFrost NMR™, a multi-patented surface science nanotechnology, was developed in 2002 as a uniquely effective way to save energy when installed into all types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.

Putting the substantial positive environmental impacts into better perspective, according to the United Slates Environmental Protection Agency, the 18,300 kWh savings generated by each single unit of PermaFrost NMR™ over a 10-year period will avoid 12.9 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
